# About Trigger Deals

> Trigger Deals answers one question for anyone buying a gun, ammo or a magazine online: is this a good price, and where is it lowest? Just pull the trigger.

## What we do

For every product we find the lowest landed price across stores (the item plus shipping to you), name the store that has it with its rating, and say whether today's price is lower than usual, about usual, or higher than usual. Ammo is compared on price per round, so a 50-round box and a 1,000-round case line up fairly.

Usual means the median of that product's own last 90 days of prices, not a list price a store made up. Every badge, chart and verdict comes from the same price history you can open on the product page.

## How we make money

When you click through to a store and buy, the store may pay us a commission. That is the whole business. It never changes the order of results, the deal verdict, or which store we show first: the lowest landed price wins.

## What we won't do

- No countdown timers, invented stock counts, or 'people are viewing this' messages. Scarcity is shown only when a store reports it.
- No paid placement in rankings.
- No accounts required: your watchlist and price alerts stay in your browser.

## Status

Trigger Deals is in design preview. Products are real brands and models, but the stores, prices and ratings are sample data while store feeds are connected. Nothing here is a live offer yet.

## For developers and AI assistants

The same data is available as a free JSON API and an MCP server. See https://trigger.deals/developers.
